• Engage in any form of automated data scraping, crawling, indexing, or bot activity that overloads or damages platform infrastructure
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or bypass security measures protecting SCDev Social
• Post or share malicious code, viruses, worms, or any software designed to harm the platform or other users’ devices

We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate your account immediately upon discovery of prohibited activity.

3. Intellectual Property

All content on SCDev Social, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, software, code, design elements, layouts, and database compilations, is the property of SCDev Social, its content suppliers, or respective copyright holders and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws including the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to view and use the content for personal, non-commercial purposes only. This licence does not permit you to:

• Reproduce, distribute, transmit, display, or perform any content publicly or commercially

Account termination may result in loss of all associated data, bookings, and funds.

5. User-Generated Content & Listings

By submitting content to SCDev Social (including business listings, photos, descriptions, reviews, ratings, messages, bookings, comments, or any other user-generated material), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable licence to use, reproduce, modify, edit, display, distribute, and sublicense that content across our platform and related marketing channels including social media, newsletters, and promotional materials.

You represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the legal right to submit the content, including all necessary permissions
• The content is accurate, truthful, current, and not misleading or deceptive
• The content does not violate any third-party intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or moral rights
• Your business listing information complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards
• You have obtained express written permissions from any individuals whose images, names, or personal information appear in your listings
• All pricing, availability, and service descriptions are truthful and not subject to hidden fees or conditions

You are solely liable for any claims arising from your content. We reserve the right to remove, edit, or flag content that violates these terms, is fraudulent, misleading, inappropriate, or harmful to the community. Repeated violations may result in account suspension or termination.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

SCDev Social is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we specifically disclaim:

• Any warranty that the site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or entirely error-free
• Any warranty that the information, services, or features are accurate, complete, reliable, or suitable for your specific needs
• Any warranty regarding viruses, malware, ransomware, or other harmful components
• Any warranty that defects will be corrected or that third-party services will remain available
• Any warranty that the platform is compatible with all devices, browsers, or operating systems

Business listings, service descriptions, pricing, availability, hours of operation, and other information provided by third-party business owners are not verified, endorsed, or guaranteed by SCDev Social. It is your responsibility to independently verify information before engaging with any service provider or business listed on our platform. We are not responsible for inaccuracies, outdated information, or changes made by business owners.

You use SCDev Social entirely at your own risk. Some jurisdictions do not allow the disclaimer of implied warranties, so these disclaimers may not apply to you.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SCDev Social and its parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, partners, and representatives shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to damages for:

• Data breaches, security incidents, or loss of information (except where prohibited by law)
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data or account

This limitation applies regardless of the form of action (contract, tort, strict liability, negligence, etc.) and even if SCDev Social has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability for any and all claims arising from your use of SCDev Social shall not exceed the amount paid by you, if any, to access our services in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $100 USD, whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, so these limitations may not apply to you.

• Payment processing, billing, refunds, or disputes with external payment providers
• Merchant disputes, chargebacks, or transaction failures

We recommend thoroughly reviewing the terms of service, privacy policies, and security practices of any third-party service before engaging with them or sharing personal information. You assume all risk associated with using third-party services accessed through SCDev Social.

9. Changes to Terms & Services

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service, our platform features, pricing structures, service availability, or any other aspect of SCDev Social at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website unless otherwise specified. Your continued use of SCDev Social after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

10. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws in your jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law principles or your physical location. Any disputes, claims, or disagreements arising under or related to these terms or your use of SCDev Social shall be resolved as follows:

• Good-Faith Negotiation: First, you agree to attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith negotiation with SCDev Social‘s support team for at least thirty (30) days
• Mediation: If negotiation fails, either party may request non-binding mediation before pursuing legal action
• Legal Action: If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the competent courts in the applicable jurisdiction
• Individual Claims Only: All disputes must be handled on an individual basis; class action lawsuits, collective actions, and representative actions are prohibited unless applicable law forbids such restriction

By using SCDev Social, you consent to the jurisdiction and venue of the relevant courts and waive any objection on the basis of inconvenient forum or forum non conveniens.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SCDev Social, its parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and assigns from any and all claims, demands, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees, court costs, and expert witness fees) arising from or related to:

• Your violation or breach of these Terms of Service or any applicable laws or regulations
• Your use of SCDev Social in violation of applicable law or in a manner that infringes third-party rights
• Your infringement, misappropriation, or violation of any third-party intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or moral rights
• Any false, misleading, defamatory, or inaccurate information you submit, post, or publish on the platform
• Your interactions, disputes, transactions, or communications with other users or service providers on SCDev Social
• Your violation of any third-party rights or applicable laws through your use of the platform
• Booking disputes, non-payment, cancellations, or service fulfillment issues involving your account
• Any claim by a third party that your content or conduct violates their rights

This indemnification obligation shall apply whether or not the claim results from SCDev Social‘s negligence or wrongdoing.

12. Termination & Account Deletion

SCDev Social may terminate or suspend your account and deny access to all or any part of the platform immediately and without notice for:

• Violation of these Terms of Service or any applicable laws
• Fraudulent, abusive, or threatening behavior toward other users or staff
• Non-payment of fees or failure to maintain valid payment methods
• Hosting or distributing harmful, illegal, or objectionable content
• Compromising the security or stability of SCDev Social‘s systems
• Inactivity or dormant accounts for extended periods

Upon termination, your right to use SCDev Social ceases immediately. We may delete or retain your data according to our data retention policies and applicable laws. You may request account deletion by contacting support, but deletion may not remove data we are legally required to retain.
